The Vaila Lace

Taking inspiration from vintage Shetland handknitted fine lace shawls. These romantic and nostalgic lace garments are a new unique design following in the footsteps of ERIBÉ’s iconic yoke patterns. Looking very much like a fine handknit, these intricate lace garments are available in extra fine, light weight merino wool. Vaila is a beautiful remote island in Shetland, North of Scotland, lying south of the Westland peninsula of the Shetland Mainland. It has an area of 327 hectares and a population of only one house, and is 95 metres at its highest point. Home to an organic sheep farm and is also known for its mountain hares.
