The Tweed Nep

Knitted in our Soft Shetland wool. This collection uses Soft Shetland colours which carry a tweed nep, hence the name. The nep itself is a colourful speckle that can be seen up close, and from a distance just add a lovely depth and tweediness to the texture. Designed in simple utility style the garments pockets, rib and neck have fun colour trims detail that highlight some of the colours from the nep itself. The shoulders and elbow patches use a garter stitch to add texture. The colours chosen for this collection strongly reflect the more rugged elements of the Scottish landscape and bring a nostalgic, homespun simple feel to the range.
