The Tweed Nep

Knitted in our modern version of Shetland wool, Tweed Nep styles feature an exclusive ERIBÉ yarn developed from a very old and favourite garment from our archive. The yarn blends multiple colours with a distinctive tweed nep, creating a colourful speckle that adds depth, texture and a beautifully “tweedy” character. Lighter in weight than traditional Donegal yarn yet similar in handle and appearance, it’s perfectly 
suited to today’s milder climate. Designed in a simple, utility-inspired style, the garments feature playful contrasting trims on the pockets, ribs and neckline, highlighting the colours within the yarn itself. Garter-stitched shoulders and elbow patches add a crafted touch, while the colour palette draws inspiration from the rugged Scottish landscape, bringing a nostalgic, homespun warmth to the collections.
