The Melrose Tweed

Taking inspiration from the texture and colour-play of Scotland’s rich ancestral cloth ‘Tweed’ these new garments are a fun, colourful and supersoft collection with heritage roots. Melrose is ERIBÉ’s hometown in the Scottish Borderlands, a perfect historical Abbey-town surrounded by rolling countryside, a Roman fort and the Eildon hills. The Tweed name of this collection holds double meaning – ‘The Tweed’ is one of Scotland’s famous rivers that runs through Melrose. But also, we combined ‘Scottish Tweed’ cloth textures and colourplay with our own colour blocking to create a garment that is stylish and directional while carrying complex heritage inspired design and texture. The Extrafine 100% Merino wool knitted in this super-lightweight finish makes these garments, luxury pieces that are a pleasure to wear.
